The working principle of automobile fog lights:
The filament of the light source is designed at the focal point of the parabola of the reflector and is reflected by the reflector to form a beam parallel to the optical axis. The light distribution lens diffuses and refracts the beam to form a wider horizontal beam, and makes its light shape and illuminance meet the requirements of regulations. The hood in the front fog lamp is to block the light irradiated by the filament to the upper half of the reflector, so that the light distribution has a clear cut-off line, that is, the upper part is dark and the lower part is bright. The upper visible area of the light distribution edge should be as dark as possible, and the horizontal diffusion angle on both sides of the lower bright area should be 50°, forming a left and right horizontal bright area to meet the requirements of both non-dazzling and safe driving. Provide good lighting conditions.
